In bullet points:
* Homeschooling. It's been a blessing. Watching the kids learn and grow...I am so grateful that the Lord has given me such joy in it. If I am completely honest, I feared that while I was committed to it, I wasn't sure I would love it. But I do.
* David's feet/health issues continue. We are now seeing yet another doctor with yet another treatment plan. But I feel like he is actually maybe starting to put all the pieces together. We did a DNA test that revealed he needs to have a strict gluten free diet. Ugh.
* Learning how to cook Gluten-free. For the most part, I have loved the challenge of figuring out how to make yummy healthy foods that are gluten free. But there are days when it is tiring and frustrating.
* Putting in our first garden! Yeah! We did about 160 sq. ft. of raised beds and actually got veggies in the ground this past weekend. I will post pics later. Of course, there is supposed to be a hard freeze this week. Of course. I mean, I shoulda known that we would have a hard freeze like this in PHOENIX....in the middle of our SPRING. So now we are scrambling to get ready to cover the beds.
More later....

David's been trying (not very strictly though) to eat gluten free as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you!
That's awesome that you love homeschooling.
I like being w/ my kids but I'm excited for them to go to school :)
This is way better than Facebook. Reading your blog is so great. I love the "Molly Lou Glue" story. Laughed out loud for sure. I love you cousin!
