Easter Dresses

Growing up, Mom always did Easter dresses for me.....they were a way bigger deal than Christmas dresses. Last year, I attempted some simple dresses for the girls....then wound up having a baby on Easter morning. Talk about plans getting changed! Anyway....I bought some material.....

And a pattern...pretty sure it has been over 15 years since I have used a pattern....
Loved my new island for cutting, measuring, pinning, ironing....

They still need to be hemmed, but I can't/won't do that until after this Sunday so the girls cannot coerce me into letting them wear them THIS Sunday. [Whew...that was a run-on sentence!]
Can't wait to see them both dolled up in matching digs!

    Oh so cute! Love that fabric? I take it you are (or will be) homeschooling - from your comment below? Maybe I already knew that.. We've been doing it since Dec and love it - but I don't have ANY friends, in real life or online who homeschool. I don't get it!
